Privacy Policy

I Rank Food collects as little personal information as practical while operating this website.

Information you provide

This site does not offer accounts, comments, uploads, newsletters, or a contact form. If you email I Rank Food, the message may include your email address, name, and any other information you choose to provide. That information is used to read and respond to your inquiry and maintain appropriate business records.

Automatic technical information

Vercel hosts the site and Cloudflare manages its DNS. Those providers may process standard request information—such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and requested URLs—to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site. That processing is necessary to serve the pages you request and to keep the site available and secure, and it happens for every visitor.

Separately, and only if you agree, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which rankings people read. Google Analytics is not loaded and contacts no Google server until you accept it, so declining means no analytics request, no analytics cookie, and no measurement identifier for your visit. When you do accept, Google processes information such as IP address, device and browser details, referring pages, and the pages you view, as a processor acting on I Rank Food’s instructions and under its own terms; Google is based in the United States, so accepting involves an international transfer made under Google’s standard contractual clauses and Data Privacy Framework commitments. Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses before storage. I Rank Food runs no advertising pixels here, and advertising storage, ad personalisation, and ad user data stay switched off through Google Consent Mode on every page load.

Cookies and similar storage

This site needs no cookies to function, and it sets none until you choose to allow them. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether analytics may be switched on; nothing optional runs while that question is unanswered, and refusing costs you no content or functionality.

  • Your cookie choice — stored in your browser’s local storage as irf.consent, recording whether you allowed analytics and when. It is strictly necessary, stays on your device, is never sent to a server, and is asked again after twelve months.
  • _ga and _ga_<property> — set by Google Analytics 4 only after you accept, to tell repeat visits apart and group page views into sessions. They expire after two years, and withdrawing consent deletes them immediately.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the site footer. Withdrawing stops further collection and clears the Google Analytics cookies this site set, though it cannot undo measurement that already happened. You may also block or delete cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on. If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site treats it as a refusal and leaves analytics off without asking.

Ranking pages may embed videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, which sets no viewing cookies until you press play. If you play an embedded video or follow a link to another platform, that service may collect information under its own privacy policy.

How information is shared

Personal information is not sold. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the site or email, when required by law, or when necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

Retention

Business emails and related records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the inquiry, ongoing relationship, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. Where analytics is enabled with your consent, Google Analytics event data is retained for fourteen months and then deleted automatically; aggregate reports that identify no individual may be kept longer.

Legal bases

For visitors in the UK, EU, and EEA: analytics cookies and the measurement that follows them rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Hosting, delivery, security, and answering email you send rely on legitimate interests in operating a functioning, secure website and responding to correspondence.

Your choices and rights

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information you have sent directly to I Rank Food. Some information may be retained when required for legal, security, or recordkeeping reasons. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Requests are free and are answered within the period your law allows. Analytics data is not used to make decisions about individuals, and I Rank Food does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. I Rank Food does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when site features, providers, or privacy practices change. The date above will show the latest revision.
